The hotel is beautifully constructed, complete in harmony with the nature and its surroundings. The owners have put their heart and soul in this hotel, and this is reflected in the way they have paid attention to the smallest details in each and every corner of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Located at the gorgeous Attabad Lake and nestled between majestic mountains, the hotel offers beautiful views so that we were content to spend a whole day at the hotel, simply enjoying the view. The other days, we went to see the Passau Cones, Hassan Bridge, and the Hunza City. When I walked around the resort, I could notice the little details; how each stone was hand-carved, the choice of art for the rooms, the interior design. In search of a place, to rest a little we were ready to accept whatever options were left. Little did we know that we will end up at the most luxurious hotel in Hunza. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The architecture of this place is something you wouldn't find in many 4 star hotels. The built is innovative making great use of whatever land they have. The hotel SCREAMS minimalistic yet luxury at the same time. Whoever came with that combination is a genius. We were 2 adults (my husband and I) and 2 toddlers. But it truly felt like the most perfect blend of a honeymoon yet family vacation only because of our stay at zen by the lake. Forever thankful to the people that fully booked luxus so we could experience Zen !!! As an avid traveller coming from Europe who stayed in many many locations previously I can honestly say that this is one of the best locations I ever stayed. The rooms were top notch, clean, tidy and modern. The view from the rooms to Attabad lake is just unimaginably gorgeous. The staff does an amazing job to keep the things going! The food was also very good (and safe for my european stomach). Overall, if you are in the area and you want some proper luxurious vibes and sleep with an amazing view, this is your place to stay! I had the privilege to visit Zen by the Lake a few weeks back with my family and found it as one of the best vacations for all of us. Firstly the natural environment, the beautiful scenery, the colour of the sky and the water, snow-topped, green & brown mountains in the same picture, just amazing. It genuinely felt 'Zen' & "By the Lake". Secondly, the hosts, Rabia & Tanvir who are also the owners of the resort are on site. Their story itself is an amazingly inspiring one on how they found a calling to give up their corporate lives and build this place. Considering, they live on the premises, they were on top of all of the services and we received a high quality and timely support for everything that me and my family wanted to do from food to excursions to any other kind of transporation requirements. We took the flight to ISB and drove in a rent a car to and back which they helped arrange for us. The drive going through Naran & Kaghan valley is also mesmerizing, Pakistan is blessed with this natural beauty of rivers and mountains. Finally, the premises itself, felt premium all the way. The rooms, the cleanliness, the design, the stone & marble work, it felt like they had build their own home and now allowed guests to stay in it. As a family we got 2 rooms, Ground & First Floor which allowed me & my wife to be close to our 3 kids who took the Ground Floor.
